Generic Suprax (cefixime) is a 3rd generation cephalosporin medication for oral application. Cefixime exerts bactericidal action against a wide variety of microorganisms including gram-negative and gram-positive. Action mechanisms results from suppression of cellular wall synthesis. Cefixine is resistant to the action of beta-lactamases which are produced by the majority of microorganisms.
Indications:
Generic Suprax is used to treat infectious diseases including:
